I am a DELTA qualified English as a foreign language teacher, teacher trainer and materials writer currently based in Brazil. I have taught English to adults and teenagers in Brazil, South Korea, Belgium and Costa Rica since 2007. I specialise in bespoke one-to-one lessons for business and exam students.

Diversity and representation have become important social issues in the last few years, and this discussion has filtered through to the ELT world. The Raise Up! Project is advocating for more inclusive ELT materials, starting with the publication of our own coursebooks.
I have published three books for teachers so far: How was Your Weekend?, a book of 1001 discussion questions you can use with your students, and three volumes of Raise Up!, an inclusive coursebook.
I am proud to be the second Vice-President of BRAZ-TESOL. I am also a committee member of both BRAZ-TESOL Brasília and IATEFL TDSIG.
I currently produce three podcasts, the TEFL Commute, Developod for TDSIG, and 7 Skills For The Future for Unimenta.
I have written articles for a variety of websites and publications.
